One of the biggest integrations that Backyard Dream has been a part of so far was the security camera installation project for the Kenosha Public Libraries. Backyard Dream was awarded the Kenosha Public Library security camera upgrade. Backyard Dream replaced and added 84 cameras across 4 public libraries. All libraries can be viewed from a single computer and the local law enforcement has limited access as well. Our city contract to install security in four different locations had its own challenges, but The Simmons Library stood out. Being a registered landmark, there were certain restrictions we faced that are not common obstacles in a modern install. The restrictions to maintain the historical integrity of the building not only posed interesting challenges, but also offered an opportunity for creative solutions.
